After a year of cyber wellness roadshow, we’ve been touching base with Government- offices of USec, Senator[s], Congressman, PNP, and friends in Congress to present our suggestions based on the personal observations and feedback we got from people who attended our watcha webtrap! cyber wellness seminars, but it seemed it has fallen on deaf ears.
Though, I am thankful that a group, launched a similar campaign after we mass distributed copies of our call to action, but they received flak lately for an alleged mishandling of a news report that led to the online bashing of a private citizen.
Aside from publishing this post, I made this document downloadable, with the hope that the suggestions can be passed around and adopted with or without our involvement. What is important, IMO, is to put together a short term plan to address the abuses committed on cyber space until a long term solution is put in place.
