On September 30, 2011, we had our 2nd event collaboration with Government [the 1st one is the PNP Cyber Wellness Train the Trainer seminar], and this was held at Almario Elementary School at Tondo, Manila District 1, under the leadership of Councilor Niño Dela Cruz.
If my information is correct, this is the 1st LGU initiated campaign, credit to the district representative. Another reason for holding the event is to bridge and promote PNP CIDG Project Angel Net to the citizenry. Officer Felix Yubra gave an excellent talk and discussed what the police is doing to combat cyber crime.
Looking forward to more collaboration with LGUs and PNP CIDG, this will bring us closer to the goals of TBYC.
TBYC is [teacher-barangay-youth-church] approach to promote cyber wellness. I will discuss more about this soon.
