Borrowed Images from Facebook by Face-to-Facebook
Lovely-faces.com, a new dating site, was created and launched using “borrowed” profiles from Facebook.
Fox news revealed that the popular social networking site said it was “investigating the alleged identity theft Friday and will take “agressive” legal step on the issue”. The new dating site was allegedly launched with the names, locations and photographs, collected from more or less 250,000 unsuspecting Facebook users.
The people behind this move, funny I suppose?, even shared how they are able to do that. Explaining the rationale of their actions, they want to expose how vulnerable Facebook’s users profile are for identity mining.
Tsk tsk, this is another good reason to be smart in using Facebook and other social networking sites.
